HWK: finish "learn about" questions for both colleges

I'm getting tired of writing these! I need a better system to make sure the blog-writer comes up at the end of class. The slow laptops sometimes made these searches difficult. Most but not all of you seem to have most of your info looked up.

Beware: this kind of assignment can be tricky if you aren't keeping up on your own.

HWK: begin reading non-fiction

Groups made varied progress on the college profile project. We'll move on to choosing the second college next class period. I hope everyone has a good long weekend. I know I'm looking forward to it...

Oops, I forgot to get Johnny to do this today. Am glad to be through the first unit as I think the second one is more fun. It's not literature-based like most of what we'll do in here.

Activities: presentations; reading logs; CT essay (medieval aptitude test)
HWK: read lines 455 - 765; keep up with your work!

Groups were uneven. Some people clearly worked hard but it's not clear if people read all the directions. Wednesday is the first day I really yelled at a class. I hope not to do that again for a long time.

Activities: knight presentation; group work; reading time

HWK: groups assign HWK to one another; read library book

I thought class went better than usual. Since we worked in groups it was fun and I got work done in class there wasn't a lot of interruptions.
